I'm thinking about upgrading my 100" diag Stewart Studiotek 130 screen and replacing it with a 110". Is the Studiotek 130 G3 material still the best for CRT? I've looked at higher gain material from Stewart (videomatte 200) but couldn't stand the sparklies. I also have a Dalite HP screen but its not suitable for the ceiling mounted projector.
What alternatives should I consider that don't hot spot and offer beveled fabric covered fixed mount frames?

I don't think there are many options. At one time, Stewart made a high gain screen that some used for Torus screens. I think that was a limited run though. If you could find one, then I heard it was awesome. I think the gain was 2.5.

I forgot to add that for unity or thereabouts Stewart is still considered the gold standard. You could take a look at the Joe Kane screens from da-lite, but I don't think it will be any better.
Your best bet is to go to Cedia and check out the screens in person.
