Hi,

I am finally parting out my old BG808. It has low hours (3552 hours) and all parts are in good working order and for sale I fired it up recently and all was well.

The spec:
Barco 808 Graphics
3552 hours on the chassis

I have for the 808:
    1 x Quad
    1 x Splitter
    3 x HD8 lenses
    1 x Shift Focus board
    2 x Horizontal boards
    1 x Vertical board
    1 x Port 3 board
    1 x Video/RGB switcher board
    1 x Quad Decoder board
    1 x SMPS board
    2 x G2 boards
    1 x AC Input board
    1 x EHT/HV board
3 x Modded Output Video Boards* (see below for details)
    3 x Output Video Boards
    3 x Stock Fans
    4 x Remotes
    1 x Green tube 8/10, Original 180DVB22 tube, 3552 hours
    1 x Red tube 9/10, Original 180DVB22 tube, 3552 hours
1 x Blue tube 9/10, Replacement P16LNP07BMB tube (sharper than original 180DVB22), less than 1000 hours

*The three video amps cards have been replaced with specifically modified ones (by forum member Ile) that eliminate banding (ABL removed) and gives higher bandwidth.

All other cards are original and in good working order
Case has been primed to be painted in any colour you wish (was gonna get it painted black before I moved house and never got to actually do it).
As you can see I also have one extra Horizontal board and G2 board that I bought as backup but never actually used. these cards are from a BG808S.

I also have other bits and pieces:
- HD Fury 2 with Power supply.
- Lumagen remote (the one with extra buttons).
- Lots of BD800 parts including tubes, quad, video amps and all the cards.
- Loads of RGBHV cables, Port 3 cable
- 4 Barco remotes

Cheers

Damien

Not sure how much these go for to be honest but I would say £80.

The quads are reserved by Huggy. The rest is still available. I have also added pics and listed the extra CRT projector things I have laying around.

Hey!

Any chance those amps will work in a BD808?

I might also be interested in a remote.

I'm on the other side of the pond in the States, would that be a problem?

I'm pretty sure they will. Check the part reference. These ones are R7621735.

Hi Damien,
My bg808 is pretty old but it still works well.
I wonder if it's worth renewing some parts or not... Especially tubes, video outpout board.
To have an idea, how much do you offer the remaining parts ?

Do you have the "lid" for the built in remote control in an unbroken state? Also would take the latch that holds said lid in place, and possibly the vertical out board.

Pantin93, How much would you offer?

Rattanee, WHere about do you live? Unfortunately I do not have the lid or latch anymore as I had to make some space. The vertical board is availble, make me an offer.

Thanks

Located in Hungary, but without the lid it's not worth the hassle, that is what I'm badly missing off of two PJs.
(I still have enough working vert boards, but I'll have to start repairing them as the V output are the only ones that seem to be dieing. All my spares are dead or flakey at this point. )

Hello,

Is the projector in matte black? If so do you still have the case panels?

I am looking to purchase a replacement top case panel for my Barco 808s.

Thanks.
