I have a B&K AV5000 (series 1) amplifier that I have had for a few years and am looking at trying to bridge 2 pairs of the channels (turn it into a 3 channel with 2 channels at 200 watts and 1 at 105 watts). The users manual says it can be done but I need to contact B&K and have it done by them to maintain the warranty. Obviously the warranty has expired so I am not worried about that. I called the company that bought B&K and they don't have any manuals or information about the series 1 amp. They do have the Series II manuals but about all they include are a schematic and parts list. I attached those here.

Reviewing the schematic I can see a BR callout that could be a bridge output but I am not sure what to do with that connection. Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I personally do NOT recommend bridging amps, but that's just me. you'll only get a 3db increase in sound as well. Generally you tie the two inputs together, and then tie the speaker line across the two positive terminals.
