HD(Bluray) has different signal timings than SD (DVD). Also the newer the bluray player the narrower the signal output. The new ones are designed to drive flat panel TV's. They don't need the big video porch timings that CRT does.

when i put a normal dvd in the picture is shifted to the left and when i use h phase on my pj the image on h phase is set to zero that in it self isn't good and the image isn't wide enough. the image with bluray is perfect and centered.

Another thing, did you set the sync in the Box1020 to negative? There are jumpers on the mother board for this as well as a few other settings. It's been a few years since I had mine open so I don't remember them all.

i know hd fury 2 has a positive/negative switch, but box 1020 hasn't. I'm using the component output not rgbhv.
i just got the box and wouldn't dare to mess with the circuits, i'm giong to try it one more time by checking the IAC
by gently turning the knob and if that doesn't work why try dvd's? blurays are better anyway Thumbs Up

There's no switch on the HDFury2 for sync, that's the GammaX you're thinking of. The one you're thinking of is the RGB/YUV switch on the HDFury2.

If I can find the switch settings for the Box 1020 I'll post them.

i did some tweaking on box 1020. there were 3 jumpers on the board saying hmode, hvpol, cpol, i replaced the hvpol and cpol from the left to the right of the 3 pins (i think this is the negative polarisation). Re connected the box and.....
no luck when tweaking the picture position again (stil not synqing to the picture) Crying or Very sad
I really am sure it is not working because i am using the component output Confused
