Buy a bigger bore gun, the screen is still lighted.

You need to turn the blue tube up a bit for gun games, the Guncons work best, the Saturn guns need a fair bit of blue brightness.

I had the Saturn guns working fine on my XG and 9PG, if your screen is too big you wont get it bright enough.

The projected image may be too dim for the photocell in the gun to register. You may need to go to a smaller image.

That Seleco will be a bit small for the job if the screen is over 70 inch, as good as the 07MS tubes are for this purpose theyre just not that bright.

What you need to adjust is the blue level at the white end of the scale, leave the blue dark end of the scale dark.

... By moving the projector closer to the screen. Smaller image on its own wont change anything if the projector is still too far away.

You cant change that Seleco to auto set up.

You need to focus the lenses if you move the projector, the front knob does corner focus, rear knob does centre.

Seleco projectors are pretty ordinary machines, if an NEC comes up theyre a huge step up.

Hey case, do you think a screen with high gain like the old Sony's convex would work well?

Absolutely, thatll work well. You need enough black level, but it is important to have high enough blue at the top end too, as when you see that white flash the gun only really sees the blue to give the signal Smile

I dont know what youre trying to adjust, but the knobs on the lenses are all you needed to change for the focusing.
