Of all the good problems to have I just took delivery of a 2010 VDC 9500LC Ultra brand new zero hours, after I just got the 8500LC up and adjusted. We've put about 350 hours on the 8500 9 of that in standby.

Now I need to swap the HD10E's off the 8500 for the HD10L's on the 9500 and set her up.

What's the difference between the "CRT Series" and the "SIM Series" ? It has Panasonic P19LUG03BMB 76 Tubes.

Examine a little closer, P19LUG03BMB is the code of the blue tube, HKA ending would be the green, in simulator machines usually the green tube is substituted with "fast-phospohr" tube which is not LUG.

That's correct that was the blue tube, I just took the cover off one to see what tubes it had.

I got it up on the ceiling yesterday and did a quick setup and watched a movie, this one has a great picture!

There are indeed simulation grade P19LUG tubes, although i doubt theyll be factory fitted in there.

Score! It has the regular phosphor, which is more desirable in HT use due to its better color spectra.

I was sooooo close to bidding on one of those. I just couldn't push myself to do it after having stuck money into my 1209s...

Let's see... they seem to have dropped in price by 50% after the last round, maybe there will be another, cheaper batch? Wishful thinking?

I am not sure why you are surprised. These pjs have got a recent boost, but that is only because more people know more about the gov.

Is anyone got a screenshot of one of these new ones in action before they were modded? I just
got a 04/11 9500lc ultra for 1000.00 NIB and wondered how watchable the picture is.
