I have one of each. Quite frankly, the 895 is in the box though I did set it up and make sure it worked fine. The 900x is the one I use (it is ceiling mounted in my basement room).
Even the 900x probably has less then 300 hours on it and probably 200 would be more accurate.
I just don't use anymore. What is the best way to sell these.
They are so frigging heavy, I am not interested in getting into shipping I don't think.
I am novice. I read the posts here and see how serious so many of you are about these things. Plus, you are much more savvy.
I am looking for advice. Post or send a private message?

At this point they aren't worth anything. Put them for free on your local Craigslist. I've scrapped most of my parts for these since no one uses them any more.

I posted a free one in the "for sale" section and haven't had a single inquiry.

Your best bet is to call goodwill, they will pick it up for free, sell it in their store for $20., and someone will probably use it

Is there a local electronic experimenter's club near you? Or an outfit that sells surplus electronics-n-junk to the general public?
Perhaps at one of those you can find someone who wants a new toy to play with even if it's not cutting edge technology.

It is actually quite nice. I have the ceiling mount which cost nearly $200 I think. The one in the box has NEVER been used. I would rather GIVE to an enthusiast from here. But I will have to decide soon since I have terminal cancer and do not expect to live more then 6 months, maybe a year.
Well, the last part is a LIE (just like the one's that Hillary tells). I am actually quite healthy.

I have the one mounted in a totally dark room with 7.1 surround sound. I actually love watching college football games on it!
No organizations that I can find. Wish someone wanted them!

The problem is finding people willing to put a little effort into it.

I still service two of them in town. Zenith made their own tubes, which is how they managed to undercut the competitors, but the weak spot is that they are ES focusing tubes, and the plastic optics also limited what you'd get out of the PRO 900. Still, they were solid, quiet units, and Zenith sold 1000s back in the day.
