Hi, I'm trying to calibrate my Sony Bravia KDL55W829 and wanted to ask a couple of questions.

I have bought Chromapure Professional and am using it with a Spyder 4.

1. Should I be using Fields or Windows patters with this TV?
2. When I am Initializing the meter should I Select the Sony LCD/LED preset?
3. I tried taking a Pre-Calibration Grayscale measurement (using ChromaPure's built-in test patterns) but did not get any data measuring at 0% and only blue and green at 10%. I got measurements from 20%-100%.

Why Professional? Are you using it professionally? Just curious why you'd be using a Spyder with Professional as given the price of ChromaPure Professional, most people will use a higher end meter and home users don't spend $999 on software (as there's no advantage).

EDIT: I don't see any purchases from you either (ChromaPure Professional orders are fairly rare). Maybe you purchased through a different email address than your gmail account you're using here?

See step 1.1.4 here: http://www.curtpalme.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=35322

Yes. You have a Sony LCD TV backlit with LED.

Normal. 0% means there's no signal and most meters cannot read that low. 10% doesn't have much either.
