I'm looking for a pair of Altec Lansing c.1996. They were THE speakers to own back then.

Funny Tom, that's the EXACT set I use, gleaned from the local recycler. I wouldn't say they sound great though, but they are far better than the plastic ones I got when I bought my Dell computer..

Got a set of the Altec Lansing ACS500's with the ACS 250 sub!
I'll have a good listen tomorrow. It's a little late to crank it up.

Only took me 18 years to get a set of these. They wil be paired with my Pentum 200MMX gaming machine with 64mb ram, Sound Blaster AWE64 Gold and ATi8MBExpert @ Play with a Canopus 6Meg 3DFx card with Win95 Mr. Green these were the speakers I wanted for that system when I built it.

Now I can put the 233MMX chip in that I bought back in 2001 Laughing

EDIT: Just realized it took me 5 years from the time I first posted this to find a set haha
