Hello

Free is too much. Get ready for serious reliability problems and few or no parts to fix a unit from 1985. Dried out caps and tarnished connections await you.

huh, is it really that unreliable? it's not from 1985, its supposedly manufactured somewhere in 1994.

your going down a step from the Ampro with this unit.

Matt( mc83? ) not sure his screen name has a few ECP's , he wants to blend them.

the ampro is still not working, though the ECP's status is also unclear. might skip this one and repair the ampro first, it wont display cause it comes up with a vertical sweep faillure.

Last Friday night playing indoor soccer in an adult rec league, I got a nailed in the cookies with the ball, tweaked a gimpy ankle, and worse yet - we lost. Considering that each game works out to $12 or so (before post-game beer), I think one can safely say $15 and a Saturday spent toying with an ECP of unknown condition is better than many alternatives we each -- surely -- chose regularly.

That said, I expect many of you might consider taking one in the groin over messing with an ECP...I dunno. Wink
