An MCI/Sony made in the USA JC110 1/2 track reel to reel tape deck. In nonworking condition when I got it, it needed a new stop button, which was causing no transport functions to work. Resoldering of all Molex connectors in the power supply, many were cracked, the touch sensitive joystick for the transport needed calibrating, and the tape lifter mechanism was seized, causing issues with rewind and fast forward.
This deck does 7 1/2, 15 and 30 (!!) IPS, and is ruler flat to well past 20Khz at 15 and 30, flat to 20Khz at 7 1/2. An amazing deck, with the hard to find monitor panel. Made in the USA, it came with a box full of spare parts (except the ones I needed of course!) and it sounds absolutely amazing. I've got two of these now, this one is going on ebay shortly as soon as the stop switch comes in next week.
All TTL construction, the whole unit flips up for servicing. Insanely well constructed.

Wow seeing that makes me want to build crazy looking speakers, grow a full beard and put on a Mr. Rogers sweater and a pair of thick rimmed glasses and go to an audio show.
Nice find!
