Hi
I have a moome card in my Sony G70 and was wondering if I could use it in a Marquee 9500.
Probably some modifications are needed, but is it possible?

Thanks Kurt
Looks like you actually have tried it?
Is the width and depth of the cards the same?
Looks like the edge connectors mate and if so you could cut the appropriate pins going from the edgeconnector to the pcb and make the right connections on the moome card and all there is left is making a new faceplate matching the cutout in the Marquee..

The dept dont match, and you need to take the 14V from the VIM as its not present in the DIN. 96 connector into the VIM. ( that i have been able to find)
It would be better to sell the sony card and buy a Marquee card.
I did run the new SONY card in my Marquee for some time, and when installing the right filters out of the DAC, it performs the same as the Marquee card, as expected, as its the same DAC and buffer used, i guess the difference is that the SONY card have the 3D stuff on it.

That might be a good idea.
Do you have a model number for such a switcher?
Will there be a performance degration with that solution?

There for sure is a potential performance degradation.
And i would think its a bit silly to spend money and time, to get a switcher, when there is a Marquee card who fits right into the projector, with a minimum of connections and no cable run.
