Hi,

I had a set of AV system which plan to connect with Crestron MC3 Controller for my living room. I have downloaded Crestron Simpl Window, System builder and try to create a simple program to connect all together due to i had basic programming knowledge. but i have not idea where should i start in software part ?can someone help?Crying or Very sad

My AV system as below:
Crestron MC3 main controller
Linn Sneaky DS
Linn Akurate DS
Disc Station
Crestron ST-COM x2
Ethernet Hub
Sharp TV
Samsung 9000 Series TV

I drew a system diagram and the connection like below

MC3 connect with ST-COM via Cresnet
MC3 connect to Ethernet Hub via ethernet
Sharp TV and Samsung TV connect to ST-COM
Linn Sneaky DS and Linn Akurate DS connect to Ethernet Hub

Do a search here. there's a massively long Crestron thread somewhere, probably a year or so old. I personally know nothing about Crestron, sorry!

One of the best online resources for Crestron programmers, especially those not able to get the support a dealer might, is the Crestron Programmers Group on Yahoo!

There is a document called the Simpl Primer (sw-simpl_primer.pdf) that may be downloadable from Crestron's site that would make a good start.

Do an inquiry here. there's an enormously long Crestron string some place, presumably a year or something like that old. I for one ignoramus about Crestron, too bad!
