My question is would it be possible to use the 4000 power supply in a 4600? Just plug each lead into the power supply instead of the splitter and not worry about the focus leads. I know it would not have the BOOST mode but I never use that anyway. I think it would need some connectors changed as well. Just asking because there are NOS ones on ebay. I have re soldered mine a few times and it is still flakey.
