Yes thanks. Curt was not completely certain so this is good to know.
I also checked another vim and there was no dot so it definitely was the vim as you said.

What? Yes, I was certain! Smile Maybe not before opening it, but certainly when I sold it to you.

I will assume though, that like Runco, Vidikron most likely bought sets from E'home 50 at a time, then stocked them. If a Vidikron date says 2001 (or Runco), then I guess it is possible that the machine is pre-2000 if they had a slow sales year. I know Runco was selling 1101 projectors (Barco 1209s) into 2001 and 2002, yet the BArco chassis were from 1998-1999.

Ah ok well we double checked!
The best number is of cause the hours. 5300 standby and 1300 with tubes on. That is almost new.
I will try if the other CLM has some new features as it has a higher version I think.

Think the only downside to the years is the little sweat on the bellows but that is not a problem and can be solved by lowering the pressure in the bellows probable.

Be carefull when taking the fill screw out. Better have them turn down, its a mess when its standing on the floor.

Release the pressure might do for now while your just playing with it on the floor, but i think its a good idea to put new belows and glycol before you hang it.

There is also the option that you just ask me to come remove the Vidikron, and you keep using your 909 Wink

They will still sweat even with pressure relieved. Not sure why but i think the rubber breaks down and allows the liquid through.

Just keep an eye on them. You might have to replace them at a later date. Unless you want to change them out now while she's still on the ground Wink

I did clean a old 1997 below, refilled it with new glycol, it did sweat a bit the first 2-3 months, after that it has been all dry.

Just checking today, its still dry but it is building up pressure again.

It will be changed before hanging it.

Well that is not going to happen Very Happy I am starting to fall in love with her. Already I like the feeling that I just press the button and know she will turn on and display whatever I connect.

Ok clear. I was afraid to overload the convergence causing drift but you explained that shifting the center is done in the deflection yoke. Do I understand that to center the rast with the astig magnets and the focus yoke I would have to move the focus yoke forward and backward while doing astig? I think I might do it that way to not stress any electronics.
no, you don't slide the Focus yoke back and forth, you loosen the 3 brass wing nuts and oscillate the focus coil housing around the winding, usually requires cleaning off hot glue before things move freely.
PM me an e-mail address and I'll send you the doc.

Well might be me but I can almost never get the barco to sync on rgbhv on any pc. Some lower resolutions work.

Are you aware of that the port 5 only accepts + sync?

Yes and the only way I can get something on it is with composite sync t-connector and 4 on the ab. Positive sync indeed. It just seems very picky. With a mac and vga adapter it went better.

What are the experiences with the Marquee without mods does it resolve 1080p 100% from a Moome?

If you run a 03VIM with trimpots you will be able to adjust a close to perfect 1:1 but you wont have the low noise and higher contrast as the mods give you.

Ok that seems to suggest that my vga card is the problem because I resolve the 1:1 (much better than the Barco but) not 100%. The vga is better than the old Moome version that I had.

So you have a 03VIM adjusted to a reference source/ DAC.?

Oh wait I have a vim 02. So that should not resolve 1080p 100%? But it has an old version of the MP mods.
