Last week the pj worked fine, yesterday turned it on but didn't hear the normal crackle and pops. The rear end of the tubes are glowing orange but I don't get any picture. No adjustment screens, where do I look next? Thx Studio

Look at the EHT board, is the red EHT Hold down LED on? It may be a scan fail, check if the red scanfail LED on the G2 board is on.

Also there is a fuse on the EHT, it may be blown. On newer EHT there is a second LED, if that is on also you may have a broken quad or splitter.

Didn't find any EHT LEDs on, but the red Scanfail on G2 is on.

OK, then your vertical or horizontal or power supply board is bad, causing the scan fail light to come on. With the SF light on, you won't get any HV as the set protects the tubes from burn. You can buy all three boards outright for cheap from me, or send me all three for testing/repair/replacement if you want.

Maybe the problem? Didn't find any fuses blown.
