Big dickhead, small penisland. It's not Canada, we don't have those here. Razz

AB is Alberta. Biggest cities are Calgary and Edmonton. It's probably not Calgary, the Vette doesn't have horns on the hood!

(assuming that's your car, I'm just buggin' ya. If you are out this way though, let me know, I might do a road trip to meet you.)

Was considering going over the border to buy it. Been trying to make heads or tails out of what needs to be done and how much it would cost to bring it here. It was bought new in the US and imported to Canada so there should be no safety or EPA issues. Im not sure if I can simply put it on a trailer and bring it back with just paying the 2.5 % auto duty.

That's not a Canuck code. They're letter-number-letter, number-letter-number. If it's actually T1A5P*2*, then it's Medicine Hat AB. Looong drive...

Sorry, not a Z or a 2. It's a 7 if that helps?

My guess is that it's exactly what gary said.

Ab is Alberta. T1A is definitely an Alberta postal (zip) code.

Check regarding the taxes, but Canada is actually more strict with importation laws than the US is. We have daytime running lights here, and usually have more reinforced bumpers. the daytime lights require a relay installation, the bumper can be anything from extra absorption material to replacement of the bumpers.

It seems that law has made our car companies get lazy as now they are on the us cars(even the imports have them)

I hate them when they are on the headlights as it looks as if the high beams are on

My escalade has them and I just put LEDs in place of the regular bulbs(could remove them since they are NOT needed here)

You have a problem with running lights? Why? With the quality of drivers around here, I'd rather be visible to the morons than invisible.

What makes you think a moron will pay any more attention to lights (in the daytime) than he does to a fully-visible CAR? The car is much larger, IMHO much more visible in the daytime than the lights, and the car is visible from ANY angle. The lights are only visible from a relatively narrow angle in the front.

We went through the day time running light hatred here back in 1990. I can honestly say though, people that don't have them are harder to see. I even turn on my lights on my old car so I can be seen. When I didn't have them on and everyone else did I would almost get hit many times a day.

Yes but after knowing you for how many years, I have to wonder if it was by mistake or were you being targeted Laughing
