To do what? You should be able to control it from any old terminal emulator.

I thought you burnt it up, anyway?

There's software to adjust the color calibration and contrast ratio. It still powers up and throws a picture, it just has red blobs in it now Laughing ...and NO I don't think I can fix the blob with the software. I just want to play.

Usually the software is just a friendly face for the RS-232 protocol, i.e. same functionality as the protocol, but in an "app". If you can find the RS-232 protocol doc for that generation of machine, you can likely do everything you can do with the Windows application. Just giving you an option, since finding Windows software of that area could be pretty unlikely.

Do even know what it was called? I don't even remember any JVC software, other than a lens calculator like Sony's PJ Calc.

Can't remember. I looked into it a while back. I'll see if I can find the name again.
