I have (posted) a Barco 76-27205 RGB Driver board still left over. I actually had a few more Barco boards left over from when I worked on them and did a few mods for them, but got a PM asking if I had any board left. And I sent out the few existing modified boards I had left, and modified the only stock RGB Driver board to send out with the others. The stock board that I sent out would only work in the "S" series Barco's. The guy that got the boards sent me the following in PM:

"Very happy with the boards, no idea what you did to them but the image definitely improved!"

The board I have posted is out of a Barco 909. it was also modified by me and upgraded as well. Since I have it around with no way to test it, I'll use it as a loaner (in the lower 48 states only) to evaluate or try out. Or if you have 909 boards from Greg, you can swap this one in to try out. I'm not selling it, just using it as a loaner for any hobbyist that would want to try out a modified board. And so that you'll know up front, I will not be modifying Barco boards.

Contact me if interested...

You're getting the Greg Mods, correct?

It's just an left over 909 board that I started modifying and somehow it got lost and mixed in with my Marquee stuff. Because I was sure I had gotten rid of all the Barco stuff.

Anyway, I'd just like for someone to play with it, and maybe after that you can get your hands on it. By then I'll know it works and how well it works before I'll ship it any real distance away.

And of course, I would love to see how it fairs in comparison to Greg's driver board..Very Happy

I clicked on the link, but it's all Greek (or some other languish) to me. I would surely like to know why it's being considered the "King," because other than the impressive specs, you barely ever get to see a screenshot of anything from one of them..Confused

You'll get six pages of the test, with calibration results.

Some more shots about software revision and runtime on mine.

I did not reset the hour counter of the tubes itself. They have about 100 hours runtime and are brand new.

He when I compare voltages i see a huge difference in HTHD voltage. Mine is 118V yours is 79V. Who knows what is right or does even this difference not matter?

Hi,

HTHD isn't a fixed voltage (otherwise it would be + xxx V like the others). It is the supply voltage
for the horizontal deflection and needs to be adapted to the corresponding deflection frequencies
(due to the frequency dependent resistance of the deflection coils).
You will see different values depending on the input Signal (e.g. 720p vs 1080p etc.).

Regards,

Voltage reading was done with 1080p@60Hz.
