yeah.. patience.. lol
I tested it with Laserdisc last night, and running 1080P 60hz DVI out with a H total 2270.
That was super nice, maybe the best LD experience i ever had.. A big problem with LD is lipsync.. so when using the Crystalio and sending 480P to the radiance for scaling, its super bad lipsync, and no where to adjust it.
Even deinterlacing looked ok.. Try conect a Laserdisc player to the Radiance and everyone in the room gets sick.. its that bad.

Got this from Jim..
""The HDQ maximum clock output rate is 148.25, which is 1080p60. You cannot pixel match above 1080p60 output.""

I asked again to make him confirm..
Im testing now, and running 168Mhz DVI out
it will fail if i run a bit higher. 1125x2490x60

well the 1:1 pixel mapping i refer to is in- out the VP, and in case of crt not the display.. like it will just display whats trown at it.
Reply from Jim.
So the 1080P 72hz via analog RGBHV out is just not true.?
[> ]
It is true since you said “1080p72,” but what is not true is expecting the HDQ to do 1920x1080p at 72.
I still need to find out how i make a 1:1 pixel mapping out with the analog output, it looks like pass true have no effect with analog output, how can i solve that.?
[> ]
The only way to do 1:1 on analog output, is to have the output selected as “Both” DVI and analog. Then if you have 1920x1080i or 1920x1080p24 input, and the DVI output is set to 1920x1080p60 output on the analog is also 1:1 since the DVI is what is used to set output mode.

MENU 0 9 3 2 4 will activate both DVI and RGBHV out, and then i get the 1:1 pixel mapping..( no scaling )
But there is no sence in using the analog out if using a moome input card.
The analog out of the HDQ dont have the BW to resolve 1920x1080P 60hz, the DVI do resolve it fully.

Ok So It might do it or might not, just like some of the Radiance have to be checked if it can do 1080p@72.
Also there is MODE A or MODE B when asked to select p after entering 1080.
From Gordon in London
"it's been a while but....if you go to menu>out>res and type in 1080 then choose P it asks whether you want a or b"
I do remember now after his response seeing the choice. I can not remember which I chose .

Just testing..
You can run high framerate only with analog output active, and then you cant do 1:1 pixel mapping, and its possible if still under the 168mhz.
so with scaling/ messed up 1:1 pixel and Htotal around 2100 it will do 1920x1080 72hz

Try it.. it wont work.. as JIM write its only 1:1 pixel match if you run both output together.
And that blocks output over 60hz
I just pased 1920x 1080 77hz, but the input have some serious overscan i cant find out to corect. i can push it around, but not get it right.
Anyway.. if it dont have bandwidth to resolve 1080P 60hz.. i dont see a purpose to push it higher..
It roles off on the vertical lines like a normal CRT do. already at 150mhz
Maybe it will do it with a SD input.
