I built a pretty nice torus lite screen about 5 years ago and I can't for the life of me remember where I purchased the Draper
M2500 material!!!! It wouldn't be an issue except I've damaged it and am sick about it. I know the M2500 material is only 1.5 gain now which sucks because the original material really worked well in my room.
Anyways, can you please share with me any and all sources you have for screen material? I may not be able to use draper anymore so I would like any possibilities you can think of.

Please help me out guys!

Here's some theater pics just because. hee hee hee

Draper recently went through and renamed a lot of their materials.
Have you emailed Draper to ask where you can buy their material?

How did I not know that?!?! That's awesome! You can just do material and not only built screens?

PM me with what you need. I'll get a hold of Draper on Monday and will get a price. Material, screen, hey, even the lacy thingies to stretch screen material with. Smile

Something fell over and just grazed the screen. It didn't damage the vinyl but it damaged the coating. So on that one area it isn't as bright as the test of the screen. Seems like about 30-40% less. It shows up best on bright solid color scenes. The screen is 96x54. In going to try and flip the screen upside down as it shows up much less until you sit down. So the damage is very directional and I'm thinking it might not be too annoying if it was flipped. It's about a one inch wide strip maybe twelve inches long. The projector is actually a vision 2. Wish it was a vision one but to tell you the truth I get a pretty amazing picture out of it with my hd144 lenses so probably wouldn't be worth it to me to upgrade if I had a set of nine inch tubes to put in. But that's just me.

while you're on the phone with Draper Curt, would it be possible for you to ask them about pricing on

100" wide
4:3 (although i could live with 16:9)
18" black drop above the viewing area
acoustic transparerent (prefer their woven over their micro perf)
electric
tab tensioned

after the Innovations sale i now have the money to get a screen...
