The thing that concerns me is that they look like the white van crap that shows up on Craigslist. Also, no light rating on one, and the other says 300 lumens, which is pretty low. Might be fun for a small screen - like maybe 6-7' diagonal - with 1.3-1.5 gain material. I agree though that it would be fun to play with... Somebody buy one and find out how it works.

I believe they are big LCD panel light valve projectors. The lens has a pretty large diameter. Maybe there is a LED array for the light source? One ad said they used LEDs from:

I looked on their site but they didn't mention anything about projectors. I am very intrigued with these projectors.
