For my company, I designed a bar for a competition. The bar is to be used for marketing for an event in Denver. I was lucky enough to win and the bar featured a architectural fabric screen which looked like a wall. Screen is 10 ft wide by 8 ft tall. My intention was to show images from a projector behind the screen. The images could be flashes of different colors, patterns, or video highlighting out company. What I wasn't told prior to my design being chosen was the event is during sunlight from 6pm to 9 pm in June outside. I had assumed it was indoors. The screen is exposed to the outside on both sides. There is a 3ft deep roof across the length of the screen made of the same projection material. Can this setup work and what specs are needed for the projector? I can't really make major changes to the design because the bar is very architectural and modern. Any weird appendages or modifications will look weird and kill the design. I could be more selective of the screen material. If the projector doesn't work ill be looking to integrate a flat screen.

This company here makes screens for unfavorable lighting conditions. Some of their demo pictures look pretty convincing for broad daylight.

Check em out, they have a lot of different screens, plus they are probably not the only one who sells daytime projection products, there is probably someone else too, but a good starting point nonetheless
