|
|
I am doing a weird experiment (dont ask
I have a VGA DLP Link projector that I want to use RF glasses with and it does not have a sync out plug.
I have hooked the vsync and ground of the vga cable to a Din-3 plug and plugged that into my emitter, similar to this page:
http://www.stereo3d.com/vesa3.htm
The emitter seems to pick up this signal.
I then start playing with the delay/timings on the emitter but can not seem to get the right settings to get all colors working and the seperate images in each eye,
Does anyone know if this is even possible?
Does anyone have any advice on what timings I should use?
Thanks
Ben

This may be due to the difference in porch widths and other timing between analog (VGA) and digital signals. I've only used an RF glasses emitter with the 3D Theater, which works with HDMI (digital) inputs and outputs only.

Where I do the sync extraction is after the digitial to analog conversion so it cant be that.
I have a VGA signal that my DLP projector uses and the vsync is taken from that but I cant get the emitter timings to match the projector.

Solved anyway, just had to play with the timings a little more.
