So you're saying that the whole back light that illuminates the buttons in the standby mode go out after a few seconds. I'd virtually guarantee that the power supply is bad. It's a very complex supply that can't really be tested as a standalone item. Ideally you'll swap it out with a working unit to make sure it's bad.

I do, the problem is that it's a 110 volt supply only. Do you have a stepdown transformer to convert from 220 to 110 volts?

Hey curt, isn't there a jumper for voltage selection inside the PG power supplies?

No, not that I know of. I think there are some mods that can be done, but I've never done them. I believe that the AC input board is also differently laid out between the two sets. But Lawbob, if you want to take your LVPS out, pop off the top cover and take some pictures, if the main PC board is the same between the 110 and 220 volt versions, then I could most likely send you just that board rather than the whole set.

Yes, there is a jumper inside, and some other components should be changed, the picture is for PG plus, but I think it is basically the same as plain PG.

I have PG xtra which is very different, but if you don't mind I attached the corresponding page from the PG+ SM, I circled the jumper which should be altered.

Dont buy one yet cause you may be able to get Curt to flick it over to 240 volt before he sends it.
