Never got to see the inside of the M-25 yet, haven't had the chance to take it apart to get it going, looks nice, quality Metal can transistors, never seen them go bad 
I hope this isn't rude, but I am curious as to what you sold the M22 for?

The last one was sold for 674,4 $ with NOS TO3 Transistors and all capacitors change on the boards.
Its missing some paint here and there, but is in technical 110% tip top.
A mint M22 in same technical condition will cost around 1350$, if sold on ebay.de i think i could get more.

do you like accuphase amps? i recently moved to a pair of M60 monoblocks - they sound fabulous, look magnificent, and are incredibly well built. smooth, detailed, refined.

I'm sure the question wasn't directed towards me, but I've seen a couple of accuphase vintage amps, new old stock, in the box on ebay, and the guy who was selling them was nice enough to take the cover off to show the inside, very very well built and they look great. I can't speak for the sound, but by the looks of it, it would have been a remarkable amp.

I never owned a Accuphase amp, but i have heard some, and the sound never exited me enough to try it.
If i ever got a very nice offer i'm sure i would try, they look great, and heavy.
Mono blocks, i love the idea and the look of it, but i never made it work, same with bi amping and so on.
Its hard to find 1 amp that i like, and finding the right power cable signal cable and so on, finding double up is almost impossible to me, and trying always failed.
The best results i had was always from stereo amps. But i have far from tried everything.. so who knows what i think in 2020..

hey Andre - are the pics of the DR-3 stretched in height? they look taller than other DR of the time, but i haven't seen DR-3 before.
i really like the old school Classe models. was once upon a time thinking about a pair of DR8 bridged mono for my CLS panels

No i owned the Classé DR-3B FROM 1987 TO 1988 that was the small 25 watts per channel class A weight 75 pounds then from 1988 to 2000 i owned the Classé DR3-VHC that was the big 45 watts per channel class A weight 112 pounds the VHC stood for Verry High Current here are both pictures.

Maybe the best sounding amp from Denon. Its 2x50W, not enough to run big speakers, but for a set of smaller 2 way speakers set up right, this integrated amp will please you. And the built in Riaa that is quite nice to.

mmmm Denon  My preferred brand for home theater equipment.
Now for stereo equipment, I have to say I'm a McIntosh person myself. I'll have to grab some pics of my tube amplifier. Hopefully I can get a 2nd one soon so I can run them both in mono for more power

Yeah its simple true KL. A power.. 2x100w, it was designed to 2x120w, with all parts beeing able to run idle, no stress, but even with the active cooling it was not possible to keep the temperature down, when adjusting bias to 2x120w
So emagine how much KL.A power there is in those big passive cooled amps claiming 200W.KL.A
Ist normal parts, Rifa caps, Motorola transistors, Telemecanic contactors, industrial type for output relay.
It have DC, HF, heat and overload protection, i know it was tested at full load shorting a speaker output, and it just shot Down and no harm done.
Most amasing is the shassis.. Its CNC machined alu, and its like LEGO.. put the parts together.. super tight tolerances, and the top plate with 18xM4 screws , and holes 4,1mm and they all go right in with not even a hint of touching the side of any of the holes.
There is a few weeknesses, its from around 1991 so its not new anymore, the jumpers under the relay can need resoldering, i think its from the hot Cold movement of the massive chassis stressing the solderings.
At bias set to 100W it is around 60C hot, and higher bias it will shot Down on overheat in hot weather after 6-8 hours of use, Its the transformer core getting to hot.

You see the one channel on the Picture, there is one more under it, and there is a pic where you see a bit of the Penny & Giles Volume pot.

Its a NAD T977, so far it sounds good, not finished adjusting bias yet, need to hit the sweetspot.
