Tim, you're getting old.
Clearly, one is 'only' a Vision 2.

I saw the pair sitting and I got excited.

The broken one is a Vision 1 , AKA 9500LC. The best projector Electrohome ever made. |
It's a good thing I've already added them to my home owners insurance.

What that we're all Fruits and Nuts?
California does kick ass though. The rich are everywhere and scrubs like me step in diamond crusted sh*t all day long. Actually from what little information they would give me they came from a large production company that was upgrading their system. Also, just because they came from Goodwill doesn't meant they were cheep. Also doesn't mean I paid through the nose as I know how to barter with them. One thing out here is they do their homework on crazy items like this. Sometimes they are right on the money others they are shooting for the stars. It's all a crap shoot and you never know what the hell you'll find.

Here's some pics of a 9500Lc a local guy "really scored on" for a grand. It's an Ultra, tubes looks decent, a little wear on green, low chassis hours. Oh and the best part, sweating Glycol into the chassis like a Whore at a convention.
People are yelling at you to tear apart the working machine to get the other one going and hopefully you don't listen to them . Bet you a box of donuts it's got this same problems.

Luckily it's extremely clean inside. Hardly any dust which surprised me. One thing that's befalling me is when you plug it in you can hear it click into a stand by mode, and when you press the power button it makes the sound like it's firing up just as the working unit. I just need to find out why I'm not getting any lights. I have yet to pull anything out as I'm still reading all the info in Curts site. I'm not risking anything unless I'm confident I can put it back together.

Funny, I was by your way about 2 months ago, must have driven within 5 miles from you, going from LA to Scottsdale... I will probably do the drive again before the end of the year.

I'll not be far from there this month on my journey, too.
I might be of some help...
Cheers!
