Got it from a friend, he didnt realize its near impossible to find a good panel for these things, so he gave it to me. Its a nice looking TV, probably CCFL LCD, about 1/3rd of the image on the panel can be viewed as normal, the rest is all garbled due to the crack.
So is there a panel out there? Otherwise it becomes parts

Almost impossible to find one. I'd say 80% of problems with LCDs are cracked panels. I hoarded cracked sets here for about 2 years hoping for a bad chassis with a good panel, and now don't even pick up cracked sets from the recycler any more..

I figured as much, never hurts to ask though. Ill probably whip it on ebay for $100 bucks,
Anyone here who has this model and wants the whole TV/stand and remote its yours for $50 plus shipping
