Step one in rehabilitation is realizing you have a problem.

I don't think it's worth anywhere near that. Not organized, blah blah, not to mention the shipping costs. Some very cool gear though.

Honestly, if the guy would work on the price, and I had the cash, I would probably buy it. I could live off of selling that stuff easily.
I'll bet theres a few items I have been looking for that are sitting there. At least its something cool to watch, maybe not as cool as the $3,000,000 record collection I saw on ebay a few years ago, that was just unbeleivable! All climate controled, there were doubles of every album, one new, and one used, some not even used, it was a huge warehouse.
Ah its nice to dream

I remember that record collection, as a massive reel to reel collection that I think the guy wanted $50K for. I totally drooled over that one! But, after pricing it out, the guy wanted retail on all the decks, there's no way I'd make any money off them.. They took up a whole floor in his house though, all nicely built into custom white cabinets. Sadly, the guy seemed to have a few screws loose, he said the collection was worth double of what he was asking, and there was no way he'd part the collection out.
I suggested that he list some decks independently, as it sounded like he was in immediate need of cash, but no dice.

I think this guy would be better off hiring some college kid to list all of this stuff individually on ebay and do the shipping.

I was going to make an offer, but I didn't see any 4 track car tape players in there.
Oh well, guess I'll keep on looking.......
