Trying to get the 1080i signal to work from the Moome V2 Sony IFB card to my G70. The image is almost black and white and really dim. Tried the different color temps other than the preset and HC instead of Auto on the clamp. The same thing happens with my Toshiba HD DVD player in 1080i as with the Dish VIP 222 STB.. The G70, is set up and has a memory location for 1080i from my HD Fury III and works with the Fury but will not work with the Moome . Also, 1080i to the projector via component Y-Pr-Pb is fine. 1080p from the BluRay is fine with the Moome. What am I doing wrong?

On my Marque''s it works fine. Hmm might have to send it to another sony owner to test for you.

Did you try adjusting any phase settings in the G70? I know with the marquee if the picture is pushed far to one side it will go darker some times just a few clicks of phase can bring it back to life.

Athanasios , thanks for the input from your experiences with your Marquee and the Moome card. I have played with every setting in the G70 menu with no effect. Surely someone out there is using the Moome card with a Sony G70. Anyone willing to try a 1080i signal to a G70 via a Moome V2 and share your results?

Athanasios, I finally took the time today to play with the G70 and Moome card. I did some searching on the Moome area of the Forum and found a post for similar problems. On the Moome remote , press 3 and the card will auto detect the correct signal settings. That I believe was not in the manual or data sheet. Problem solved. Also pressing the 4 key makes a little difference too. A little tweaking with the gamma and all is well on the 1080i signal from the Toshiba HD DVD player. I have to try the 1080i signal from the Dish receiver yet. Switching out STB’s and waiting on some equipment for IR repeating for the Dish remote. Very Happy
