Hello I'm from Germany

what I want to know is..how long does it take the shipping from America to Europe ..Germany

I ordered the 3d theater yesterday...hope its going well with my Sony Bravia 52 inch and Humax reciever via Satelite and PS3.

I think it rocks

My other question is can the box convert 2d TV to 3D TV..most TVs in Europe have this option

It isn't like 3d but the effect is mostly very good..near 3d.

Thank you..

Typical ship times are 7-30 days. It's a big spread because it varies.

Just like you can't automatically turn a black and white movie to colour very well, you cannot convert 2D to 3D very well. The 3D-VIP products do not do this. To me that's really gimmicky and not worth doing. For it to be worth it (in my humble opinion), the original source has to be 3D to begin with.

Thanks for your order - it's appreciated!

Kal

hmm

I don't think so..2d to 3d is worth to try...

There are processors out anditi locks realy near 3d...you are right that 3d TV sendet via 3d is better

But it rocks..if your neigbours see the ordinary TV nearly 3d

Thank you

I suppose that's a matter of opinion then (there's no right or wrong answer here), but here's my opinion on the subject:

I always prefer to see exactly what the director and writers intented. Anything done "fake" after the fact is not something I want. So this includes audio processors that create "fake" surround sound from older mono movies, systems that colorize black and white movies, or 3D boxes that take a 2D image and make 3D out of it.

In all cases what you get is what some company decides to do in their electronic box/software to alter the movie. It has nothing to do with what the original movie director/writer did. They have no say in the matter. In my opinion it's their creation, their work of art, and should either be watched and listened to "as is" or not at all. But again, that's just me!

But you believe it or not

for 3d you need classes....the industrial 3d with sensors takes maybe 2 or 3 years to come out without using glasses to watch it.

Why not sell your boxes with the option to convert 2d to 3d...its the market

smile

ok you musn't.... grind

I don't think I could sell something like that with a clear conscience, though I suppose you're right that there are people that would be interested!

If you want that kind of capability, Monoprice sells a box that'll do it. But its input and output options are limited.

Like Kal, I prefer native 3D content. 2D-to-3D conversion offered by my Panny 210 is a letdown. But true 3D content is stunning.
