Ok,

I have some HD120's too add, again there are several lens stickers........

FIRST OF ALL - MOST of the lens pictures are from my own lens sets..........

I STILL need to add ALL the LC 8 inch types, which I think I have sets of most of them here........

(YES I KNOW - I have a problem!!!!)

IF any of these pictures belong to others, I have spent several years collectiong them, then feel free to shout and take credit for them - some come from fleabay.

Other than that I hope these are of help to others, again Thanks to Tom for the info, Kal for the work he is about to do! and Curt for the site.

Tom there was a plastic lens cleaning .pdf and some other stuff........

I will look it up if you dont have it........

The Barco series of LC lenses consist of the following :

The HD-120 = The HD-10GT17
The HD-180 = The HD-10GT26
And I believe ...
The HD-300 = The HD-10L

I could be wrong, but I think the HD-300 is AKA the GT30 (for screens ~300").

From the CRTprojectors.co.uk site .

Q: What exactly is the correct specification for 9" projector glass lenses?

A: Some confusion and miss-information exists on these lenses, here are the correct details:

*

HD120 are the most desirable lens for the 9" liquid coupled projectors, they are optimised for image widths from 2 to 3 meters and have 12 line per mm resolution.
*

HD180 are also 12 line per mm resolution but are optimised for image widths from 3 to 4.2 meters. HD180 will not focus correctly on the average 2.5 meter wide image.
*

HD300 are general purpose lenses able to focus on image widths from 2 to 8.8 meters wide. They are 10 line per mm resolution. HD300 will work fine for home cinema but HD120 are a little more desirable.
*

HD10 are the older general purpose 10 line per mm lens, focus range is 2 to 8.8 meter wide image size. HD10 lenses will sometimes focus down to smaller screen sizes better than HD3

Despite the numbers on the BARCO lens sets

120,180,300....

The 180 are without question designed for the MASSIVE screen sizes.......

Tom, give me a shout..........

I have spoken to Kal and if "we" put all this info together he will "webify" it for us all.

ANYONE who can add any info PLEASE do so.

I would like to do this for the use of everyone, while we can and this info is available I would like to see it set in stone, and never lost.

The main aims will be as follows.......

1. Pictures of all lens types in a "virtual museum" concept
2. Lens data
3. Which lens? Which Projector?
4. Direct lens swops
5. Lens swops that require modification

This will credit all contributions, If anyone Tom??? wants to do the write up then I can supply many pictures, Im sure Curt/Mr King and others will help fill in any missing pictures........

These mount the same as the HD 145-144. I have only seen one 'Quail' set on a special project I was doing at NEC. Direct mount for the non LC XG and later PG series. I couldnt find any data sheet on them. Doug

HD9 anyone ???

I think these are found on Early Barco 1200's - im not 100% sure about these.....
Early 1200 have HD120 (HD10GT17), least my unit have.

HD9 was in BV/BD1000.

Here some other rare (to me) lenses

Vision series
BV701 ...Norita 14x, Norita 22x, Norita 27x, Norita 36x
BV701s TAC 4B
BV508 Delta 216
BV1609HDTV TOC 7

Data series
RD701s(OEM) Delta 94

Does anybody have any pictures or specs about NIKON HACC F 1,24/172 (?) motor focus lenses? Those are used in Sony HDIH1200 9" LC. I couldn't find anything, is that lens model even correct?

How different is the HD6 and HD144?
i have a chance to buy some HD6 lenses. I know they are colour filtered but not quite as good from all accounts.
Can i use the front lens off these HD6 and put it on my HD144 to replaced the scratched ones?

will this front element change the performance significantly?
