Hi Folks,

Month ago I bought a new HD Beamer Sanyo PLV-Z4000.
http://www.sanyo.de/products/LCD/projectors/homecinema/product_detail.asp?lg=E&PID=269&product=PLV-Z4000&n1=1
It
It can do: Vertical frequency: 50 - 100 Hz and intern do up to 120Hz.
I an not sure what I am needing for: view 3D Movies and play Playstation 3 Games in 3D.

And is the refresh rate with a 3D VIP the same as "real 3D Beamer"?

Thanks for your time

If you want to do 3D internet content and satellite cable as well then you'll need the 3D-Theatre.
If you only want 3D Blu-ray movies and PS3 games then the 3D-Displayer is fine.

See our 3D-Theatre order page for a table that explains this: http://www.curtpalme.com/3DTheatre.shtm

Your projector cannot accept 120Hz refresh rate on the input from the sounds of it so you'll need to set the 3D-Theatre or 3D-Displayer box to 60Hz output instead of 120Hz.

The internal refresh rate of 120Hz is likely not important here - it's what the projector most likely does to standard 2D signals like 24Hz film (x5) and 30Hz video (x4) to reduce flicker.
