I am trying to figure out if a common VGA to Component cable will work with the Moome EXT-V3. I'm attempting to go HDMI in from an Oppo-BDP93, and go out component to a video switcher capable of 1080i59.94.

Most reviews of cables report people not being able to use them to go from VGA to component, only component to VGA, with others reporting that you need an additional 'transcoder' to get the signal to work properly--as it only sends RGB.

Is anyone successfully using the component out function (YPrPb) on the Moome EXT-V3? Would any of these cables work?

I am not exactly sure where those reviews originated(because they are nonsense), I have and still use a VGA to component cable on BOTH the Moome and Fury products and they work fine on my component video switcher without a hitch. Just make sure(and it looks like it is) that the VGA is the "male" end of the connector to fit the Moome, otherwise there shouldn't be any problems. Also confirm the RGB/YPrPb switch is set to YPbPr on the Moome, the conversion is already being done within the Moome converter, no need for a transcoder.
