How to connect my laptop to my tv via a vga connection? Do i need an audio cable? I want to watch tv from my laptop on my computer. I have the samsung RV510 laptop and mine doesn't have hdmi output, so i need to use vga.

Yes, youll need an audio cable, cause audio is not in the VGA cable.
