Ok, so I got Irule, Iphone, and a global cache unit for rs-232 to my marquee. Get it all working and works great for a couple of months. The GC then starts losing its IP and quits all together. So I get the GC repaired, hook it all up and everything works great until I hook up the projector, then the GC just hangs up with all the Ir leds on the GC staying lit.

Question So is there a reset for the rs232 on the control board, and is all the circuitry contained to the control board itself?

Thanks
Jim

try copying all your settings with Marquee loader/controller and then initialize the pj. Reload the settings and try iRule again.

Are your sure it's a problem with the projector's rs-232 circuitry? I'd still be suspicious of the global cache unit.

Can you test rs-232 communication between a PC and the projector?
Can you connect the global cache unit to another rs-232 device and verify that it is working as you would expect?
