I am interested in the future to try 1080i with my ECP, right now 720p is looks just fine... but I like to use my mac (plugged into my Denon A/V receiver with HDMI switching) I like to use Front Row so i can watch video files on my HD. It doesn't seem to have 1080i.. it has this odd resolution 1920x540.

1920x540 is similar to 1080i It is what Crag rounds actualy set up from my lumagen to my Mitsubishi RPCRT which is only 1080i Capable.

But you can download SwitchResx http://www.madrau.com/indexSRX4.html

It can creat custom res on your mac, its pretty cool.

ahhh interesting thanks a bunch... i played around with it, couldn't get the display resolution to show up. Perhaps it would help if i plugged the mac directly to the HD Fury instead of going through the AV receiver. Once i have a resolution that works connect back up to the receiver for HDMI switching?

That app is a disturbingly fun toy. It's great just seeing how movies look in weird contrasts Very Happy

yeah if I can only learn how to use the damn thing... so far i haven't had any luck... and I may need some contrast adjustment going to a larger screen. not sure if my little projector will be able to handle the bigger size.
