Thought I would share my latest HTPC project with you guys. Smile

It will be running Windows 7 and use the Arcsoft solution for BD playback as well as lots of other neat stuff.

Here is the case I chose:

Thermaltake DH 202:

They have a higher end one with a nice LCD display but really how much would I use something like that? Smile

Whats really sweet is the case came with a nice media center remote as well:

Here is some of the hardware so far:

AMD X4 955 that will clock in at 3.8ghz air cooling
4GB DDR3 1333 Memory
ATI Radeon 5830 (will also bitstream DTS HD as well as Dolby TrueHD/lossless)
Creative X-FI Titanium (for games and dolby digital live)
Asus M48785TD-M EVO Mainboard
Windows 7 Ultimate

I still need to pick up a BD-RW drive and a couple WD Raptors or SSD. I'm building this for the Boss at work. One heck of a lucky guy he is.

More soon Smile

Cliff

Love the case. Pricey but the looks are probably worth it.

A very similar build to what I am going to replace my daily driver with (bump to x6 and add some ram).

Mind revealing the build cost?

I hadn't heard of the 5839?! Is it an overclocked 5830?

My bad. Gotta fix that Smile

It's been a bit since this stuff was ordered so I'll have to look up the prices. This case is bad ass. I'm really digging it. I wish I could keep it!
