I have a Mitsubishi WT-46805 and the green crt lense will go off for a while and then come back on.
I was just wondering if anyone has had this problem and if there might be a way to fix it?
I did a search but couldn't find a solution. Thanks

I would reseat the CRT socket on the back of the green tube. If it's cutting in and out, I'd say you have a bad connection or bad solder joint over a failed part, as it's rare for electronics parts to fail and then start working again. Once they are dead, they are dead for good almost always. Check all connectors, but if you don't know how to solder or if you haven't worked on electronics, you need to find yourself a tech rather than trying to dive into this yourself.

I reseated the socket and this didn't fix the problem. The green CRT lense is not turning on at all.
I have done a little soldering and am always up for learning something new.

I got my old Mitsubishi back up and running. I did some searching and found that the power transistor( 2SC3942 )
go out on these units. Replaced it on the PCB-CRT board and is working so far.

Thank you Curt for pointing me in the right direction.
