I bought the Ext V2 box for half a year, I'm quite happy with the picture provided to my Barco 1209s. However, I find my ext V2 box doesn't work any more in recent few weeks. If I connected the PS3 to HDMI 0, the middle green LED just keep flashing and seem scanning back and forth, but it will not output any picture. If I connect to HDMI1, the middle green light will not turn on at all. What's the problem with my ext V2 box?

I have had a somewhat similar but not exact issue with my V2 that eventually required a replacement. I have only ever needed one input so for the first few weeks it would do the normal scanning and then eventually lock on to the input(in this case HDMI 0), however, strangely enough after a few weeks of usage the video signal wouldn't securely lock on any more and the picture would start to drop in and out and get worse as time went by. The 10 bit light would also flash on and off during this procedure which would cause these video dropouts(my display is 8 bit). Surprisingly enough if I plugged the cable in to HDMI 1 it would continue to work reliably. I secured a replacement and the same pattern ensued. The first few weeks everything was fine until I started having the same video dropout issues described above, BUT, as above, it took a few weeks before it started to happen again. Another several weeks has gone by and I am using HDMI 1 on the replacement unit without incident.
Very strange and I have talked to the HT guys about this and Moome has stated this has never happened before and would require a thorough study of my intial unit that I have since returned. It is quite unusual that it doesn't happen right away but takes a few weeks of usage before the problem starts to occur. There is no doubt that the large range of equipment out there and the various "quirks" with HDMI ins and outs can be troublesome, however, it would seem in a few cases this has something to do with the video lock feature eventually wearing down.
Moome has advised that on the new V3 version that one would be able to lock in one input and disable the "auto/video lock" feature. I think this may go a long way towards solving the problem.
