Kal-

Can you change the code to where the thread title shows up in the browser window (and more importantly, in the taskbar when windows are minimized.)

I usually open threads that I want to read in multiple windows and let them load in the background while I read the top one.

Right now all windows just say "Curt Palme CRT Proje...".

And if I have multiple topics that I'm cutting and pasting between, it's easier to click between them if I can see the thread title.

At "Site A", the thread titles display in the taskbar. That's an example of what I'm looking for.

crtforum.com also just shows the forum title first, so I'll take a look at the pspbb code and let you know where it could be changed.

Here it is...

I'm using a different template, but I'll check subSilver next to see if the file is named the same...

in "overall_header.tpl", change
Code:
<title>{SITENAME} :: {PAGE_TITLE}</title>

to
Code:
<title>{PAGE_TITLE} :: {SITENAME}</title>

No problems. Good idea. Gimme a couple of days and consider it done. If it's not done in a couple of days... remind me. Smile

Done!

I also made the following change to remove the words "View Topic -" in front of everything:

In viewtopic.php

Change:

//
// Output page header
//
//$page_title = $lang['View_topic'] .' - ' . $topic_title;

to:

//
// Output page header
//
//$page_title = $topic_title;

Looks good. Thanks.

If you want to be consistent, "View Forum" is still prefixed on the top level topic pages.

Yup. Saw that as well but wasn't sure I should change it as well. Makes sense. It's done!

I'm going to leave all the other headers as is... (there are quite a few and they're sprinkled all over the place in various php files).
