I've done a couple of searches for instructions on making a Torus Screen with out much luck. I've found some interesting threads but nothing that shows how to design and then build one. Anyone got a link?

Thanks Gary!
I just read through most of it and it seems totally do-able. I'm wandering what the depth of the focal field is on a G70 though, the Torus lite concept sounds nice but it just seems like I could push the curves a little deeper for better uniformity/gain and sill get an acceptable convergence. The range i'm seeing so far for 100"+ wide screens has been between 3.5" to 7.5" on the horizontal, so maybe something between those two would work well...

I think Vince had the G70 at a little more extreme angle. If you mount it with less angle, then you have less issues. Check AVS for a thread I started where there was a list of Torus screens and equipment that everyone was using.

The torus works great. I made one for my D50 and two for my 1292s. Each one was larger than the last. Let me know if you need any help.
