Just joined this forum for this thread.

It won't let me PM because I don't have 5 posts yet, but is this fix still something you do?

I will send an email.

Well I just repaired my second one of these and it has been confirmed to be fully functional now. This seems to be a very common problem on both the 92TXH and 94TXH receivers. I ordered a whole bunch of extra parts this time in case I run into any more of these. The only difference this time was I just had 2 of the boards mailed to me so I didn't have the whole thing. It just concerned me not being able to test them after the repair. But all worked out well. So this appears to be a confirmed fix. Thumbs Up

Edit: As of Sept. 28, 2010 the repair count has exceeded 30 and more boards are on the way. Way to go Pioneer.

I have also received a request on the 1020-K may also be freezing and locking up.

@macgyver655,

You still fixing the 92txh boards? If so I would be interested in your service. My receiver is experiencing some of the issues that other posters have experienced (Freezing with loss of functionality via remote or direct and also it powers down on it's own)

Thanks in advance for any assistance available.

I have a VSX-1020 that is freezing up. I read earlier in this thread that this may be the same problem that the VSX-92TXH and 94TXH has. Would like to know if mac is still doing repairs and if the 1020 can be repaired. I already sent an email but I know gmail isn't always reliable sometimes so I thought I would follow up with this post. Thanks.

My Pioneer VSX 1127 started to freeze up, I too need to unplug it and then when I plug it in I get less than 1 minute before it freezes again. Does anyone know if macyver655 is still fixing these?

Greetings Gang!

this is my first post, I'm reviving what appears to be a long dead thread.

I've previously fixed DTS Bombs as I had the means and software to update firmware's

I'm going to see if my old harddrives still have the files, if so, would there still be any interest in this?

I still use my VSX-92TXH SO MUCH!

Please let me know your thoughts!
