I have not upgraded to the 3.x series of Sony PS3 firmware. I haven't done so, because I have not felt the need to. I play movies, and sometimes look at pictures, listen to music, and stream a video. But I do hear in a distance that some have been having some brake-the-PS3 firmware upgrade experiences and wonder how many here have had bad experiences with PS3 firmware upgrades.

Not broken, but I do not like an apparent feature that came with my last upgrade, where it does not continually display all the items in a list.
For example if I am scrolling through my music list it will briefly show a screen full of artists, but after a few seconds it will only display the currently highlighted one.

I upgraded a couple weeks ago.... no issues

Since I play online anytime I get up to my mothers, I update the firmware regularly. I have never had a problem with the updates. In fact I just updated Wednesday.
