I managed to score two brand new RCF 6200 projectors, one still in the box. The other one has no box, but hasn't even been fired up AFAIK. Ceiling bracket, remotes, manual all new looking, never used. Lens caps still on the sets.
These are roughly equivalent to the ECP projectors. ES focusing Sony 07MS tubes, digital convergence (partial analog), 800 lumens, 50Khz scan rate. A nice slimline looking set. (will post pix once I set them up).
So here's the scoop. I paid very little for these, in fact I bought them to rob the tubes out of, but seeing them in such pristine condition, it would be a shame to part them out. I think these come with the cheaper plastic TAC lenses, I'll check and update, the sets are still in my truck from yesterday.
I haven't had an NOS CRT projector here in a few years, nice to see someone was still storing these. The story is they were supposed to go into a big HT showroom, that never came to fruition.
Anyways, the only catch is that I have no backup parts for these at all. Very few were sold in North America, RCF was bought out by Mackie a few years back, and CRT production stopped.
So.... I'll sell these cheap. $350 each, or $600 for both. With one, you should get a few good years out of the set, and with 0 hour tubes, these sets will be razor sharp for quite some time. Buy both, and you'll have 100% backup parts. Heck, I'm even willing to strip one for you, so you don't have twice the shipping costs. At this price, the sets really are worth the value of NOS tubes.
If the lenses are the cheaper TAC ones, I'll drop in HD 144s at an extra $50 per set.
I'll eBay them once I take some screen shots, but these are really nice looking.
