I recently connected a hdfury 2 with power supply to my Marquee 8000 projector and the picture looked great. Of wouldn't sync with 1080p, but that is another topic. After watching Movies for about five hours the picture went out. Now the CRT's light for a second go out for a couple of seconds. Almost like they are trying to start up but can't. Any ideas on what I may have broken / burned out? By the way this 8000 was purchased from Dragn and had the hv and lv supplies modded along with the neckboards etc.

I thought GVAgolf sounded familiar. Man that was many years ago, I quit working on the 8000's quite a while back but its cool to hear you still have it. . It sounds like the high voltage power supply is going out. I actually don't modify that one, just the LVPS and you have m8500 neck-boards in that machine as well.
