Hi all!
I am a new projector owner, never calibrated displays or projectors before.
After I've read the calibration for dummies, there is still couple of questions.
I have purchased eye-one LT and DVE HD Basics, my projector is Pioneer KRF-9000FD (European model of PRO-FPJ1, rebadged JVC HD100 / RS2).
1) what should be the initial settings for the projector before I start the calibration process?
-f.ex. should I select "User1" picture mode and set contrast, brightness, sharpness and color to "0", gamma curve coefficient to 2.2 and color temp to "middle"?
2) I couldn't find RGB LowEnd -control, but instead I found "Picture - Offset" to adjust the respective brightness of the R G B in dark image areas. Is this the control I should use for RGB LowEnd?
3) Also couldn't find RGB HighEnd -control, but there is "Picture - Gamma" to set the reference gamma curve coefficient (1.8-2.6) and then possibility to adjust W R G B gamma curve separately. Should I use this as RGB HighEnd control?
(The user manual for my projector can be downloaded here: http://www.pioneer.eu/eur/products/62/82/KRF-9000FD/media.html)
