Has anyone been able to source the wilsonart in the Toronto area for a reasonable price? I want to try it out and compare to the screens i'm using now.

I ordered a sample of the wilsonart designer white and can tell you it's identical to the melamine board I bought at home depot for $35, and it's already mounted on 3/4" wood.
here's a thread on avs about melamine;

See I tested Melamine from Home Depot here. It was way way to shiny and hot spotted like crazy.

I had a 60" pull down. Then I played with a Studiotek 130 but I gave that to my G/F. I don't even have a projector up and running right now. Too busy with cars to play inside with projectors.
One of these days I'll get two sheets of Wilsonart one 5x13' and one 2.5x12'.
I need to set up the 10 foot wide 4:3 screen again. That was fun. I had a couple of sheets on industrial paper super shiny ( maybe a 4-5 gain ) and the PC setup with gamma. It was a blast gaming.

I really liked the studiotek. Even when it's hung against a white wall it reflects back more light than the wall.
I did turn the Ampro on last night and ran it for almost half an hour.

Not sure if you caught my edit above.
For a cheap screen grab a wilsonart roll.
Studiotek 130 is much more expensive than Wilsonart for sure.

I was off looking for a Studiotek ... it ain't ever gonna happen. I is too CHEAP.
Hurley Screens tomorrow, then I can decide.
Obviously Wilsonart is the cheapest way to go but this time I'm willing to pay a little to get it right. I just got the latest MP upgrades and well they sure cost more than Wilsonart.
