CALMAN?

ok, once again, title says it all. is there a website or file that has all of the controls that will be needed to calibrate this projector?

i have a lumagen hdp, so i know some of the stuff: gamma anyway, will be on the lummy, not the pj. i am farmiliar with the brite, cont, detail buttons.

thanks in advance!!

First set the Lumgen to default for the input your calibrating. then you will only calibrate the PJ using the G2 and drive controls for each color.
These are in the Service menu area Utilities>9> 0,9,0,1 then select color 6500 calibration and do it by eye first using the explination on Tim's site

http://www.etechvideo.com/techtip1.htm

After you understand how this works start up the calman program and use those controls that you used doing tim's greyscale set up and fine tune it.

Its not hard and its very fun to do.

Then after if you need more tweeking use the lumagens contols, they also have a service area i cant remebr the number combo but its very close to the marquee's maybe 0,1,9,1 some else remember off hand? this will open up gamma controls too.

as always thanks. i did do that a while ago and it did improve things. i was just wondering if i would have to make zone adjustments on the marquee...but i think that will be done on the lumagen....now to get that usb to lumagen rs232 cable...

the marquees i have had didnt have the CCM board in uit, but you do make a point with focus zone adjustment, if you notice and area that isnt right you may be able to add more blue defocus in a specific zone to help in that area, but then you would have to do a grey scale reading for each zone and that is a pain in the arse to master.
