Yeah, nothing better than a big, bright, flashy sign to catch your attention while you're driving. And watching those 15-second TV spots is loads of fun. Well, for anyone with a 1280x720p fixed-pixel panel, who feels that SD looks like crap on their new HDTV because the internal scaler isn't so hot, this would make a real cheap solution for that. With almost unlimited flexibility to pan, zoom, and crop off the "flickery lines" that many broadcasters let drop into the active image area, thinking that overscan will hide them.

I think the real holdup isn't Bluray or 1080-itis, it's that most here don't rely on SD sources much anymore.
